Eburacum-Petuaria (also recorded as Petuaria) was a Roman auxiliary fort established in northern Britain during the governorship of Agricola. The site occupies a commanding position above the River Derwent in the Vale of Pickering, controlling a key junction on the military road network connecting the legionary fortress at York (Eboracum) with the coast and the northern frontier.
