The Temple of Amun is a sanctuary located in Aghurmi village within the Siwa Oasis that occupies a rocky outcrop overlooking the settlement approximately 500 kilometers west of Cairo. Known colloquially as the Oracle Temple due to Alexander the Great's documented pilgrimage in 331 BCE, the structure represents one of two major temples dedicated to Amun in the oasis, the other being Umm Ubayda.
