Mamucium-Leeds was a Roman auxiliary fort established during the late 1st century AD as part of the imperial advance into northern Britain. Located in what is now the city centre of Leeds, the fort served as a military outpost along the route connecting the legionary fortress at York (Eboracum) to settlements further north.
