Naumburg Cathedral is a medieval cathedral in Naumburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, that bridges the architectural transition from Romanesque to Gothic over a single structure. Built in stages from 1028 onwards, the cathedral houses life-size limestone founder sculptures created by an anonymous sculptor known as the Naumburg Master during the 1240s–1260s.
